Division for Empirical Educational Research
The Division for Empirical Educational Research concerns itself with the empirical investigation of educational questions. The division is split into two subdivisions:
- Subdivision: Working Group for Empirical Educational Research
- Subdivision for Policy and Educational Law
The Subdivision "Working Group for Empirical Educational Research" supports empirical research within the educational sciences and seeks to give this research the deserved meaning and visibility within the DGfE/GERA. The subdivision furthers scientific exchanges especially about research design and methods, but also the exchange about empirical findings between scientists and practitioners in this field.
The Subdivision for Policy and Educational Law aims to bring together findings and stakeholders from science and research as well as from practice an administration of schools and education by supporting empirical research and scientific discussions in this area of interest.
A common focus of both subdivisions is the support of emerging researchers.
