Ombuds Committee

The Ombuds Committee of the German Educational Research Association (GERA) | Deutsche Gesellschaft für Erziehungswissenschaft (DGfE) is responsible for the clarification and handling of personal and collegial conflicts and disputes that arise within GERA or between its members, for example in connection with abuse of power, discrimination, the violation of professional duties and conflicts in the context of working or cooperation relationships. The Ombuds Committee and the Ethics Council may cooperate, if necessary, but with a clear division of responsibilities.
